Job summary

Andrea Mak seeks an Equity Sales professional (Associate to VP) to cover institutional buy‑side clients across APAC from Hong Kong. You will distribute equity research, pitch investment ideas and execute equity trading business while building long-term client relationships to drive brokerage revenue.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 3–10 years of equity sales or related experience with an established APAC institutional investor network.

Qualifications

• Master's degree mandatory.
• 3–10 years equity sales / institutional brokerage / buy‑side sell‑side coverage experience.
• Established APAC institutional investor network.
• Strong market sense, commercial mindset & client hunting capability.
• Fluent written & spoken English; Korean / Japanese / Mandarin highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of HK & Asia equity markets.
• Resilient, target‑driven, able to work under fast‑paced market pressure.

Responsibilities

• Pitch equity research, stock ideas & market views to institutional portfolio managers / analysts.
• Execute client orders, monitor market flows and provide real‑time market updates.
• Collaborate with research, corporate access & trading teams to service client needs.
• Track client P&L, trading activity and identify revenue growth opportunities.
• Organise client calls, investor meetings and roadshows together with corporate access team.
• Maintain client CRM, capture client feedback and anticipate trading demands.
