Job summary

Recruit Logic Limited in Hong Kong seeks an IT Business Analyst for Equity/OTC platforms. Lead requirements analysis, translate business needs into functional specs, and drive end-to-end technology delivery across multiple workstreams.

You'll own design documentation, perform impact analysis across trading, risk, and post-trade systems, and collaborate with regional teams. Strong English and Chinese communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in technology projects delivery, within investment banking or capital markets.
• Proven experience delivering complex front-office technology initiatives and enhancing enterprise trading platforms.
• Understanding of OTC derivatives, Equity and trading systems, preferably Commodities Options.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, enterprise application architecture, APIs, messaging frameworks, and event-driven architectures.
• SDLC, release management, testing frameworks, and modern delivery practices.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills, with the ability to perform investigations, impact assessments, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with pricing, risk management, market data, trade lifecycle, and post-trade systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of Calypso or similar capital markets platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering teams on solution design, reviews, modernization, and automation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English and Chinese communication (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis and solution definition for Equities/OTC platforms.
• Translate business requirements into functional, technical, and system specifications.
• Drive end-to-end technology delivery across multiple workstreams and components.
• Own functional and technical design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform impact analysis across trading, risk, market data, pricing, and post-trade systems.
• Act as SME for platform functionality, workflows, and integration architecture.
• Analyze production issues and coordinate resolution activities.
• Support platform enhancements, system optimization, and strategic tech initiatives.
• Review solution designs for alignment with business and architectural objectives.
• Coordinate SIT, release validation, and production rollout activities.
• Identify delivery risks, challenges, and dependency impacts.
• Collaborate with business users, quantitative teams, risk management, operations, and technology stakeholders across regions.
