Job summary

SDIC Securities Wealth Management (Hong Kong) Limtied is seeking an Equity Derivatives Trade Support Associate to support the post-trade lifecycle of TRS/OTC equity derivatives, including trade booking, affirmation, amendments and lifecycle events.

The role covers daily cash and securities settlement, interface with brokers and custodians, and collaboration with front office, risk, compliance, and operations to ensure smooth processing and new product launches.

Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• 2. 3–5 years of relevant experience in Middle Office, Trade Support, Settlement or Operations within securities firm, prime broker or capital markets institution.
• 3. Experience supporting Equity Total Return Swaps (TRS), or other Equity Derivatives businesses is preferred. Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, settlement processes, reconciliation and operational controls.
• 4. Familiar with the Bachelier Technology platform is highly preferred.
• 5. Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• 1. Support the complete post-trade lifecycle of TRS, and other OTC Equity Derivatives, including trade booking, affirmation, amendments and lifecycle events.
• 2. Manage daily cash and securities settlement for Equity Derivatives transactions and monitor settlement status. Produce operational reporting and make sure settlements, operational controls, and exception handling are completed in a timely manner.
• 3. Interface with brokers, custodian banks, clearing agents, and liquidity providers to enable smooth trade processing and settlement.
• 4. Work in close partnership with front office, risk, compliance, and operations functions to support dailybusiness and new product launches.
• 5. Participate in the rollout and operational readiness of the Equity Derivatives platform, including workflow design and operational process setup.
• 6. Developand maintain operational procedures, control documentation and internal operating manuals.
