Job summary

CLSA is seeking a Trade Support professional within the Front Office Equity Derivatives team in Hong Kong. You will collaborate with Front Office Trading, Sales, Structurers and Quant desks to cover trade bookings for Delta One, vanilla and exotic derivatives.

Responsibilities include checking automated bookings, life cycle events, confirmations, term sheets and preparing valuation reports. Fluent in English and Putonghua with strong communication and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of Trade Support experience on a trading desk or middle office.
• Strong understanding of vanilla and exotic equity products.
• Detail oriented with time management and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Experience with Calypso is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Putonghua).

Responsibilities

• Check automated bookings for Delta One, Flow and Exotic Derivatives Products.
• Trade booking of vanilla instruments across A shares, HK, ASEAN, US and Europe.
• Trade booking of Structured Products including Autocallables, Sharkfin, Boosters, BEN, FCN, ELN.
• Process life cycle events including expiries, early termination, redemption, coupons and corporate actions.
• Process trade confirmations and term sheets.
• Setup and send valuation reports to clients.
• Prepare periodic/ad-hoc trade summaries for internal reporting.
• Handle daily tasks such as PnL reconciliations with Product Control, Operations, Finance.
