Job summary

Morgan Stanley Asia Limited seeks a Trade Support Associate to provide front-to-back operational support for Structured Products, Exotic OTC swaps and options within Equity Sales and Trading in Hong Kong and Tokyo. The role supports Institutional Equities and Private Wealth Management, and sits in Product Support & Services.

You will execute trade capture and lifecycle processes, resolve exceptions with sales and trading, and liaise with IPAs, custodians and clearing houses.

Qualifications

• Experience in equity derivatives trade support or middle office operations.
• Knowledge of equity derivative products, structured products, OTC swaps and lifecycle events.
• Ability to operate independently with respect to core job responsibilities and escalate issues as needed.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute trade capture, confirmation, settlement and lifecycle management for OTC and structured products.
• Support issuance, post-trade processing and servicing across Equity Derivatives products.
• Collaborate with Sales/Trading to resolve trade exceptions and client inquiries.
• Coordinate with IPAs, custodians and clearing houses for corporate actions and lifecycle events.
• Identify control gaps and drive automation and efficiency in the support model.
• Monitor daily operational controls for accurate processing.
