Job summary

Jefferson Frank in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join its IT Infrastructure team. You will maintain and enhance enterprise network services, ensuring high availability, strong security, and reliable connectivity across the organisation.

The role requires 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience (3+ years in enterprise networking), CCNA or equivalent certification, and hands-on routing, switching, wireless, and firewall experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years IT infra experience, 3+ years in enterprise networking.
• CCNA or equivalent networking certification.
• Hands-on routing, switching, wireless, and firewall experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, and security fundamentals.
• Experience with network monitoring and security tools preferred.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Mandarin optional.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and administration of the organisation's enterprise network infrastructure.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve network‑related incidents.
• Participate in infrastructure enhancement initiatives, including upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain and strengthen network security by implementing best practices, standards, and operational procedures.
• Monitor the health, performance, and capacity of network systems to ensure optimal availability and reliability.
• Configure, maintain, and support network security technologies, including firewalls, switching environments, wireless infrastructure, and security monitoring solutions.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and service providers to deliver infrastructure projects and operational improvements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation relating to network architecture, configurations, and operating procedures.
• Support additional infrastructure‑related tasks and projects as required.
