Job summary

Lenovo PCCW Solutions is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our application maintenance team in Hong Kong. You will support and enhance enterprise applications built on Java technologies, including JDK 8, Web MVC, and Spring Framework.

You will work with colleagues to ensure production systems run smoothly and meet business needs. You will analyze defects, implement fixes, participate in SIT/UAT, and assist with deployments while maintaining code quality and documenting changes for

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Java programming and Object-Oriented (OO) programming.
• Spring Framework, JSP, JSTL, and Servlet experience.
• RESTful API design and working with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL).
• Strong SQL query development and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with jQuery or Bootstrap for front-end integrations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with production support and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support existing Java-based web applications.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production defects.
• Implement enhancement requests and changes following established standards.
• Investigate application logs and perform root cause analysis.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Ensure data integrity through data patching and validation.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to meet requirements.
