Job summary

EDPS Systems Limited in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Systems Analyst / Lead Java Web Developer to design and build a scalable enterprise web application from scratch. You will craft responsive frontends with PrimeFaces and connect the app to internal systems with secure interfaces.

Requirements include a 4+ year IT/application development background, Java enterprise experience, PrimeFaces, Struts, SQL Server, and Linux RH expertise, plus strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive IT experience with application development.
• Proficient in Java programming for enterprise web apps.
• Frontend development with PrimeFaces components.
• Experience with Java frameworks like Apache Struts.
• Strong SQL Server database skills.
• Linux administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for Analyst Programmer.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable enterprise web app from scratch.
• Create responsive, user-friendly frontends using PrimeFaces.
• Develop robust interfaces connecting app with internal systems.
• Translate business needs into feasible technical designs.
• Conduct unit, SIT, and high-volume load tests.
• Configure, optimize, and maintain hosting environments.
• Draft and maintain technical design docs, APIs, and manuals.
• Perform extra technical tasks as needed for project success.
