Job summary

The Hongkong Electric Co., Ltd invites applications for Manager (Professional Development) at Ap Lei Chau. You will lead training design and delivery for Transmission and Distribution staff, partnering with engineers and stakeholders.

You will oversee progress, evaluate programmes and budget requirements, and coordinate HK Electric Institute training activities. A strong background in engineering or related fields and English/Chinese proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Education, or a related discipline.
At least 6 years’ experience designing, planning and organising training programmes.
At least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Experience with HKIE Scheme A Training Programme and VT Council apprenticeships an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint; Chinese typing is required.
Fluency in English and Chinese.
Holder of a valid driving licence Class 1.

Responsibilities

Partner with engineers and stakeholders to identify training needs and formulate strategies of training programmes.
Design, plan and deliver operational, technical and safety training.
Monitor training progress and provide guidance to engineering trainees and apprentices.
Evaluate training programmes and prepare training analyses and budgets.
Coordinate training activities for HK Electric Institute.
