• Maintain and repair food processing, packaging machinery and automated production equipment.
• Test and adjust newly arrived machinery, and provide operators with equipment operation and safety training.
• Handle purchasing of equipment, spare parts and maintenance tools.
• Support the Engineering Team in preparing engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Monitor and support preventive maintenance, equipment improvement, facility and building maintenance projects.
• Assist in troubleshooting machinery and production equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and SOPs.
• Identify and propose automation and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reduce labor costs, and increase output.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.

Engineering Technician / Mechanical & Production Engineering Technician

Join our Engineering Team and gain hands‑on experience with automated food production, packaging machinery and smart logistics systems. This role offers excellent opportunities to develop technical expertise in automation, machinery maintenance, system optimization and engineering project support.

Job Responsibilities

Maintain and repair food processing, packaging machinery and automated production equipment;

Test and adjust newly arrived machinery, and provide operators with equipment operation and safety training;

Handle purchasing of equipment, spare parts and maintenance tools;

Support the Engineering Team in preparing engineering drawings and technical documentation;

Monitor and support preventive maintenance, equipment improvement, facility and building maintenance projects;

Assist in troubleshooting machinery and production equipment to ensure smooth operations;

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs);

Identify and propose automation and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reduce labor costs, and increase output;

Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related disciplines;

2–5 years’ solid technical experience; project management experience is an advantage;

Proficiency in CAD/SolidWorks, PLC, TIG welding, or possession of Class III Electrically Heated Boilers Certificate / Electrician Certificate preferred;

Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings and equipment manuals;

Working knowledge of compressed air systems — air preparation, cylinders, valves, leak detection, and troubleshooting;

Strong awareness of machine safety and workplace safety practices;

Experience in building maintenance or refrigeration systems is an advantage;

Self‑motivated, willing to learn, well‑organized and able to work independently with good analytical and time‑management skills.

8 days off per month (including statutory holidays)
