CBRE is seeking an Engineering Ops Manager to lead a team responsible for the mechanical and electrical operations of a facility or portfolio. The role covers supervision, staff development, and coordinating maintenance with contractors and engineers.

The manager will oversee daily operations, scheduling, and performance, ensuring adherence to client requirements and CBRE standards. Strong leadership and client-relations skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or facilities management.
• Membership of an engineering professional body (e.g., CIBSE/IEE) preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, coaching, performance appraisal and retention.
• Ability to communicate sensitive information and set clear performance expectations.

Responsabilités

• Provide formal supervision to staff, monitor training and development, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate and manage daily team activities, set schedules and assign tasks.
• Lead operations and maintenance efforts and coordinate with contractors and engineers.
• Oversee facility controls and asset management systems and ensure maintenance standards.
• Support annual operating budgets and forecast O&M costs for locations.
• Drive continuous improvement, site assessments, and technical competence reviews.
