Job summary

Langham Hospitality Group's Eaton HK hotel offers an 18-month Management Trainee Program for the Engineering Department, balancing technical depth with guest‑experience awareness in a 465-room urban hotel.

Trainees shadow directors and engineers, learn life‑safety systems, CMMS, preventive maintenance, and energy management, and gain exposure to MEP operations and project work with potential supervisory placement on program completion.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Strong interest or exposure to HVAC, life-safety systems, and energy management.
• Good written and spoken English and Cantonese; Putonghua an advantage.
• Basic data skills in Excel for tracking maintenance KPIs and utility usage.

Responsibilities

• Shadow engineering leadership and learn operations across all shifts.
• Monitor life-safety systems, fire alarms, and emergency evacuation routes.
• Operate CMMS for work orders, prioritisation, and records.
• Assist with guestroom maintenance, HVAC and electrical checks, and public areas.
• Support MEP system operations, including chillers, pumps, and utilities.
• Engage in energy management initiatives and cross‑department projects.
