Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking a motivated Engineer to support delivery of architectural builder's works, A&A, and fitting-out projects in Hong Kong. You will coordinate site activities, ensure quality and safety, and support project execution from planning through completion.

The role requires a degree in engineering and at least 3 years of relevant ABWF/A&A experience, with strong coordination and communication skills in English and Chinese. Proficiency in AutoCAD/BIM and MS Office is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Building Studies, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in ABWF, A&A, fitting-out, building works, or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, site coordination, and project execution.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and safety awareness.
• Good communication and coordination skills with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ABWF, A&A, fitting-out, building works, and project execution.
• Provide on-site engineering support during the construction phase and propose appropriate construction methods for site activities.
• Monitor work progress and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
• Review subcontractors' shop drawings, technical submissions, and material submissions before client approval.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure technical, quality, and safety requirements are achieved.
• Manage site quality control, including work schedules, progress monitoring, materials, equipment, and site resources.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and safety standards.
