We are seeking a motivated Engineer - ABWF to support the successful delivery of architectural builder's works, additions & alterations (A&A), fitting-out, and building works projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating site activities, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and supporting project execution from planning through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for ABWF, A&A, fitting-out, building works, and project execution.
- Provide on-site engineering support during the construction phase and propose appropriate construction methods for site activities.
- Monitor work progress and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
- Review subcontractors' shop drawings, technical submissions, and material submissions before client approval.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure technical, quality, and safety requirements are achieved.
- Manage site quality control, including work schedules, progress monitoring, materials, equipment, and site resources.
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Building Studies, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in ABWF, A&A, fitting-out, building works, or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, site coordination, and project execution.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and safety awareness.
- Good communication and coordination skills with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Experience with main contractors will be an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of shop drawing review, material submissions, and quality control procedures.
- Experience in site supervision and contractor management.
- Familiarity with Hong Kong construction practices and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD/BIM tools is advantageous.
