Job summary

Oliver Wyman in Hong Kong seeks an Engagement Manager for the Consumer, Telco and Technology practice. You will lead complex programs, work closely with clients, and drive on-time delivery using best practices.

You will develop executive relationships, guide clients, and mentor junior staff. The role requires 5–8 years in Retail/Consumer/Goods/Telecom/Tech sectors, ideally from top-tier consulting or in-house strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in Retail, Consumer Goods, Telecommunications, and Technology sectors.
• Experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm or in-house strategy function is preferred.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills with ability to identify trends and present recommendations.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to lead and manage complex programs and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex programs to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage execution of project modules, develop hypotheses, data collection, and surface insights.
• Own and develop executive client relationships, presenting to diverse audiences.
• Guide and influence clients across situations, including commercial processes.
• Develop others and build followership; coach junior staff.
• Support Principals/Partners in project execution through planning and workflow management.
• Manage and develop capabilities of junior consulting staff.
