Defond Electrical Industries Limited is seeking a seasoned Electronic Engineer to join our hardware team in Hong Kong. You will collaborate with cross-functional groups to design hardware for automotive, home appliances, and power tools, focusing on EMC and signal integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of working experience.
• Experience in analog MCU hardware design.
• Knowledge in embedded system structure and signal processing.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop hardware designs for automotive / home appliance / power tool.
• Work on EMC design, verification and debugging.
• Perform schematic PCB layout design with Altium Designer.
• Conduct 1st review on hardware design (schematic, PCB layout, EBOM).
• Manage production support and issue handling for China Electronic Engineering team.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers on technical issues.
• Oversee project from R&D through mass production.

Job description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop hardware designs for automotive / home appliance / power tool
• Work on EMC design, verification and debugging
• Perform schematic PCB layout design with CAD package - Altium Designer is preferred
• Perform 1st review on the hardware design (schematic, PCB layout, EBOM)
• Manage China Electronic Engineering team regarding production support and issue handling
• Communicate with customers and suppliers on technical issues
• Project follow up from R&D through mass production

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent with hands on experience in research and product development work
• 5+ years of working experience
• Experience in analog MCU hardware design
• Knowledge in embedded system structure, digital / analog signal processing
• Proficient in written and spoke English and Chinese
• Less experience candidate can be considered as Electronic Engineer, Hardware
