Job summary

A technology consulting firm based in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Electronic Engineering Supervisor to lead a team and innovate product solutions. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in Electronic Engineering or R&D within Consumer Electronics, excellent communication skills in both English and Putonghua, and residence in China. This position involves supervising engineering teams, researching product trends, and developing prototypes to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of solid experience in Electronic Engineering or R&D in Consumer Electronics.
• Fluent in spoken English and Putonghua.
• Reside in China.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design and costing teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Job description

• Supervise a team of Electronic Engineering
• Research a product trend with marketing team, create new idea for existing product keeping refresh.
• Analysisfortechnologies andnew material applies to new product creation.
• Develop prototypes where necessary to prove the feasibility of various technology solutions.
• Advised engineering solution and material sources to meet specification of product.
• Lead theinternal engineering parties to co-ordinate with art-work design, sampling and costing teams toensureall projects aresmooth-running.
• Setup and reported development schedules to marketing and Sales that keep the schedule on track. e.g. when prototype, mold tooling, engineering debug and production.
• Support both internal manufacturing processes associated with new product introduction and technology transfer programs.

Requirements:

• Degree holder and major in Electronic engineer or related engineering.
• Minimum 8 -10 years of solid experience in Electronic Engineering or R& D in Consumer Electronic / Switch Mode Power Suppliers in factory
• Good communication skills including fluently spoken English and Putonghua.
• Stay in China
