Job summary

HKUST's Campus Management Office invites applications for an Electrical Services Officer to join the building services operation & maintenance team. The appointee will supervise in-house staff and contractors and oversee planned maintenance of LV and ELV systems, CCTV, BMS, fire alarm systems, and related electrical installations to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Requirements include a diploma or certificate in electrical engineering or building services, at least 3 years of relevant

Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate in electrical engineering, building services engineering or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word).
• Specialist on LV switch board, generator, UPS, busduct, WR2 work preferred.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise in-house staff and service contractors;
• Coordinate planned maintenance, daily operation, replacement, improvement and upgrading works of electrical installations;
• Assist in implementing, testing and commissioning of new projects;
• Hands-on work on various electrical installations;
• Prepare reports using MS Office applications;
• Perform shift duty and attend emergency duties.
