Job summary

Apex Education (睿俊教育) helps families with international school applications, university admissions and tutoring across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. We're hiring an Education Consultant to own a group of families: the plan, the school applications, the tutoring, and the relationship.

You'll be the person parents call. The work is client-facing and high responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Native-level or fluent English and Cantonese, written and spoken.
• Comfort with parents and high-net-worth families, and with deadlines.
• Professional, proactive and commercially minded.
• Knowledge of HK schools or international admissions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consult with students and parents to understand goals.
• Build a personalised plan covering school choice, curriculum pathway and development.
• Run school applications in Hong Kong and overseas: timelines and documents.
• Match students with tutors and coordinate scheduling.
• Be the main contact for families and address their concerns.
• Attract new families through consultations, referrals, fairs and workshops.

What you'll do

Consult with students and parents, then build a personalised plan covering school choice, curriculum pathway and academic development.

Run school applications in Hong Kong and overseas: timelines, documents, personal statements, interviews and admissions assessments.

Match students with tutors, coordinate the schedule, and check that the programme is actually working.

Be the main contact for your families, and stay ahead of their concerns.

Bring in new families through consultations, referrals, fairs, seminars and parent workshops.

What you need

A bachelor's degree or above.

Native-level or fluent English and Cantonese, in writing as well as in person.

Comfort with parents and high-net-worth families, and with several students and deadlines at once.

A professional, proactive, commercially minded way of working.

An advantage if you've worked in education consulting, school or university admissions, tutoring, international schools, an education agency, customer success or sales. Knowledge of Hong Kong schools, IB, IGCSE, A-Level, DSE, or applications to Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia or the UK, is a plus.
