We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven E-Commerce Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our Shopify storefront and ensure seamless order-to-delivery workflows. This role sits at the intersection of online sales operations, logistics coordination, and financial record-keeping ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment and takes ownership of the entire post-sale operational cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify Platform Management

Manage and maintain the Shopify store, including product listings, inventory updates, pricing adjustments, and promotional campaign setup.

Monitor site performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with developers or Shopify support when needed.

Optimize product pages, collections, and navigation to support conversion and user experience.

Process and manage all incoming orders from checkout through to final delivery.

Coordinate with warehouses, 3PL providers, and courier partners to ensure timely and accurate shipment.

Track order status, handle shipping exceptions, and resolve customer delivery inquiries.

Manage purchase order (PO) creation and vendor communications for stock replenishment.

Maintain accurate records of daily sales, refunds, and shipping costs.

Reconcile Shopify payouts, payment gateway transactions, and bank deposits.

Record transactions in QuickBooks (or equivalent system); assist with monthly bookkeeping and expense categorization.

Support invoice generation, accounts payable/receivable tracking, and basic financial reporting for management review.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory against system records.

Flag low-stock or out-of-stock situations proactively; assist in demand planning.

Maintain organized documentation for all inventory movements and logistics costs.

Process Improvement

Identify bottlenecks in the order fulfillment cycle and implement scalable operational improvements.

Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for e-commerce operations.

Ensure compliance with internal controls for inventory, cash handling, and data accuracy.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing a Shopify store in an operational capacity (2+ years preferred).

Hands-on experience with order fulfillment, shipping logistics, and 3PL coordination.

Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software; comfortable with basic bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial record maintenance.

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

Experience with Google Workspace / Microsoft Office; comfort with data entry and spreadsheet management.
