Job summary

Cambium Grove Capital in Hong Kong is seeking an investment professional to own opportunities from screening and due diligence through closing, with oversight of portfolio assets after investment. You will structure equity and mezzanine positions and coordinate with lawyers, banks and advisers.

The role requires strong financial modelling, sector knowledge of AI infrastructure and digital energy assets, and fluency in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years in investing, investment banking, project finance, or related data center/energy assets.
• Experience in data center financing or AI infrastructure is a plus.
• Strong understanding of how data centers make money and power/cooling dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate opportunities in AI data centers and related assets.
• Lead due diligence across technical, commercial, financial and legal aspects.
• Build financial models covering project returns, GPU pricing and financing.
• Structure equity and mezzanine positions; negotiate term sheets.
• Manage transactions through to closing and post-close monitoring.
• Coordinate with lawyers, advisers, banks, and private lenders.
• Support venture and growth opportunities as they arise.
