Job summary

IntelliPro, a newly established family office in Hong Kong, is seeking an senior investment leader to shape the investment framework in AI and high- technology. You will own live transactions and build conviction in a concentrated portfolio.

You will source opportunities, evaluate deals, and collaborate with founders and tech talent, while navigating public markets for balance. Fluency in English is essential; Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus, and relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• 7-15 years of relevant investment experience, including hands-on primary-market (VC / growth / CVC) deal execution with demonstrable ownership of live transactions
• Genuine, defensible expertise in AI and/or deep technology - whether through investment track record, operating experience, or a strong technical background
• Ability to source, not just screen: an existing network of founders, investors, and technical talent; proven access to off-market opportunities
• Strong analytical toolkit - valuation, deal structuring, and legal/commercial documentation literacy
• Working familiarity with public markets and asset allocation
• Native or fluent English; strong Mandarin/Cantonese is an advantage
• Existing right to work in Hong Kong, or willingness to relocate (support available - TBC)

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client is a newly established family office based in Hong Kong, deploying over HKD 1 billion of proprietary (principal) capital. The mandate is deliberately entrepreneurial: we build conviction on a small number of high-quality opportunities rather than spreading across a broad portfolio.

Core focus - Primary market: AI and high-technology. We invest across the AI stack (foundation models, AI infrastructure and compute, AI-native applications, robotics and autonomous systems, semiconductors, and adjacent deep tech).

Secondary allocation. A portion of capital is allocated to public markets (equities, and selectively funds and structured products) to balance the private book, manage liquidity, and generate returns while the primary portfolio matures.

They are early, which means the role is a build, not a seat. The right person will help define the investment framework, not inherit one.

Must have
