Job summary

King Deux Search & Consulting is assisting an Asia-based private markets firm seeking a Private Equity Professional focused on AI infrastructure. You will screen opportunities in AI data centres, lead multi-disciplinary due diligence, model returns and financing, and drive deals from structuring to close.

You will collaborate with Partners across private equity, venture and growth, and be based in Asia with exposure to global live deals. English and Mandarin fluency is essential, with CFA a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years (associate) or 8+ years (director/VP) in PE, IB, project finance, or data centre/infrastructure investing.
• Experience in data centre financing or AI infra transactions.
• Understanding of AI data centres operations and monetisation.
• Knowledge of energy markets and power procurement; PPAs are a plus.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and structuring; mezzanine experience.
• Willingness to work across PE, venture and growth, and special situations.
• Fluent English and Mandarin; Japanese/Korean a plus.
• Bachelor’s in engineering/finance/economics; CFA is a plus.
• SFC RO status for Type 4/9 is a plus.
• Analytical, communication and presentation skills; able to work with senior counterparties.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate opportunities in AI data centres and related digital infrastructure.
• Lead due diligence across technical, commercial, financial and legal aspects.
• Build models for project returns, GPU pricing and financing structure; prepare investment papers.
• Structure equity and mezzanine; negotiate term sheets and documents; drive deals to close.
• Oversee assets post-close: milestones, performance, contracts and covenants; report to partners.
• Coordinate external lawyers, advisers and lenders; build banking relationships.
• Support partners on venture, growth and special situations as opportunities arise.
