Job summary

Standard Chartered in Hong Kong seeks an Associate Director, Business Support to lead the Private Banking COO Office’s Business Support team. The role ensures reliable workplace, administration and concierge services for the Front Office and Private Banking franchise, while strengthening governance, cost discipline and continuous improvement across the function.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in business administration, workplace management or COO operations, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Led a support team and managed senior stakeholders and external service providers in a complex organisation.
• Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Good commercial awareness, sound judgement and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; interest in digital tools is an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Business Support team, setting priorities and service standards.
• Oversee office administration and workplace support with reliable service delivery.
• Ensure professional and consistent client experience through concierge services.
• Manage vendors, invoices and administration-related costs to maintain cost discipline.
• Support management meetings, townhalls and COO Office initiatives with strong coordination.
