Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong is seeking an Associate Director, Business Support to lead the Private Banking COO Office's Business Support team and ensure reliable workplace, administrative and concierge services. This role enables the Front Office and Private Banking franchise to operate effectively, delivering a professional client and colleague experience.

You will drive service standards, governance and cost discipline, oversee vendors and office operations, and coordinate onboarding,

Qualifications

• Solid experience in business administration, workplace management or COO operations.
• Proven ability to lead a support team and manage senior stakeholders and external service providers.
• Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Business Support team, setting priorities, service standards and day-to-day guidance.
• Build a collaborative, accountable and service‑oriented team culture.
• Oversee office administration and workplace support for reliable service delivery.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, seating, office moves and internal events.
• Oversee concierge service standards for Private Banking clients and escalate workplace matters as needed.
• Manage vendors, invoices and administration-related costs with a focus on cost discipline.
• Support COO Office initiatives, drive simplification and automation of processes.
• Provide coaching and development to build team capability and performance.
