Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced Load Balancing Infrastructure Operations professional in Hong Kong. You will support a global, multi‑vendor load balancing environment and work within a follow‑the‑sun model across regions to ensure reliable application delivery.

Responsibilities include handling high volumes of devices, fault analysis, automation and scripting initiatives, and documentation. Strong TCP/IP, Unix, and hands‑on with F5 BigIP and A10 Thunder are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS.
• Comfortable with Unix system administration.
• Deep understanding of F5 BigIP and A10 Thunder devices.
• Competence in at least one major programming language or platform (Ansible, Perl, Python, PowerShell, or C#).
• Excellent organization and multi-tasking in outage or incident scenarios.
• Clear communication with developers, engineers and remote team members.

Responsibilities

• Support a high number of devices and application flows in an enterprise environment.
• Use network tooling to address connectivity issues, perform fault analysis, diagnose and resolve issues in distributed systems.
• Model configurations and monitor services via GUI console in the in‑house management system.
• Address L2 escalations and coordinate resolution activities.
• Drive process improvement, automation and scripting initiatives.
• Write and maintain concise technical documentation.
