Job summary

Susquehanna International in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Production Engineer to build and operate the technology supporting the APAC Broker Dealer business. You will partner with developers, BA/QA and production support to improve reliability, automate tests and releases, and deliver safe, repeatable deployments.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate testing and data workflows, develop dashboards and runbooks, and work across Linux/Windows environments to ensure high-availability

Qualifications

• Ten years or more in production engineering, DevOps or SRE with production responsibility.
• Strong Python programming and automation tooling experience.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with automated testing, test data management and validation.
• Ability to troubleshoot across apps, OS, networks and messaging interfaces.
• Proven ability to design monitoring dashboards and alerts using logs and metrics.
• Experience managing incidents and improving reliability and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across dev, test and prod with automated checks and rollback capabilities.
• Establish automated integration and regression testing framework with QA and dev teams.
• Build tooling for test data, env setup, workflow simulation and message validation.
• Develop dashboards and alerts for application health, connectivity and data quality.
• Automate deployment, config validation and pre-market checks.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement preventive improvements.
• Improve recovery procedures and reconciliation controls for completeness after interruptions.
• Manage application environments with Infrastructure and IT Security teams.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, business users and vendors to resolve integration issues.
• Develop expertise in the Broker Dealer stack including routing, data, and post-trade processing.
• Write runbooks, troubleshooting guides and recovery procedures.
• Share production support responsibilities and drive reliability improvements.
