Job summary

The Charterhouse Causeway Bay is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead floor service staff, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet quality standards and supporting daily housekeeping operations.

The ideal candidate has a Higher Diploma or above, 6+ years in housekeeping with at least 3 years in supervision, and fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Join a dynamic hotel environment in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in hospitality or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant housekeeping experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English; basic computer knowledge.
• Proactive, positive, innovative, and with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures and chemical handling.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Proficient in PC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the performance of floor service staff.
• Oversee housekeeping cleanliness and quality standards.
• Assist Housekeeping management in daily activities.
• Supervise daily work of all Housekeeping staff.
• Oversee all areas of Housekeeping operations to ensure excellent service and cleanliness.
• Schedule routine inspections of all Housekeeping areas.
• Assist in stock control to ensure smooth operation of Housekeeping department.
• Assist in Housekeeping administration duties using computer and systems.
• Closely monitor the work performance of outside contractors.
• Conduct on-the-job training to the team to ensure delivery of high-quality service for guests.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above
• With 6-year of relevant work experience with at least 3-year at supervisory level, preferably in hotel industry.
• Fluent speaking of Cantonese, Mandarin, English and basic computer knowledge
• Initiative, positive, innovative, smart, helpful and with good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Good knowledge on Housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures and chemical handling.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, supervisory skills and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Proficient in PC Knowledge.
