Job summary

Aberdeen Marina Holdings Limited seeks a Director of Engineering for Aberdeen Marina Club in Hong Kong. Lead and manage all engineering and maintenance operations, overseeing building services and recreational facilities, and drive preventive maintenance and energy management programs across the Club.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in engineering management, preferably in private clubs, hospitality, resorts, or large-scale facilities.
• Proven experience in renovation, upgrading, and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all engineering and maintenance operations across the Club.

We are looking for a Director of Engineering based at Aberdeen Marina Club!

As a Director of Engineering, we rely on you to:

Lead and manage all engineering and maintenance operations across the Club

Oversee building services systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire services, and recreational facilities

Develop and implement preventive maintenance and energy management programs

Plan and execute renovation and capital improvement projects, including function rooms, restaurants, sports & recreation facilities, swimming pools, fitness areas, and member facilities

Manage project budgets, contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, environmental, and licensing requirements

Provide strategic recommendations on facility upgrades, sustainability initiatives, and asset enhancement

We are looking for someone who has:

Degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline

Minimum 10 years' experience in engineering management, preferably in private clubs, hospitality, resorts, or large-scale facilities

Proven experience in renovation, upgrading, and capital projects

Strong leadership, project management, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
