Job summary

Prudential is seeking a senior leader to shape and drive banca/relevant proposition development with cross-functional teams across markets. You will analyze partner opportunities, lead incentive design, and align strategy with internal governance.

You will collaborate with Finance, Risk, Product, Ops, and underwriting groups, shaping partnerships with bank partners and driving performance through calibrated incentives and product initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in bancassurance or broker distribution
• Strong analytical skills; actuary qualification preferred or strong quantitative background; experience in product development/pricing preferred
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities with stakeholders across functions and markets
• Experience across multiple bancassurance/product markets is a strong plus
• Solid business acumen with an understanding of life insurance financials and products
• Strong project management capabilities

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Research emerging bank proposition strategy, channel proposition trend & collaborate with internal functions (Group Product) & bank partner on analysing customer insights; identify opportunity & actions


• Lead and drive the development and innovation of Banca/Broker-relevant proposition (e.g. covering product, underwriting, value-added services & incentives) to enable further penetration into all segments


• Drive the best practice sharing across markets


• Support the delivery of partnership performance, with a focus on incentives & proposition execution


• Facilitate proposition approval both internally at Prudential and at bank partner governance, through engagement with Group Functions (Finance, Risk, Product, Ops & UW), Local Markets (PD, Product, Finance) and Bank partner


• Collaborate with team member on other strategic projects such as strategy, business development and new partner opportunities

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and drive LBUs to develop banca-relevant proposition with the cross-function support from Prudential (Finance, Risk, Solution, Marketing)


• Support SCB, UOB, Key Large Exclusive Account Director on discussion with exclusive partners; with a focus on incentives & product


• Lead and drive key proposition strategy and initiatives, translate into actions


• Launch Banca proposition

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant working experience; Previous partnership distribution (e.g. bancassurance / broker) experience preferred


• Strong analytical skills: Qualified Actuary preferred, or with very strong quantitative background; previous Product Development/Pricing experience is preferred


• Strong communicator with good influencing and stakeholder management capabilities


• Previous banca / product experience across multiple markets is a strong plus


• Good business acumen with a strong understanding of life insurance financials & products


• Strong capabilities in project management
