Job summary

Rosewood Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Rosewood Hotel Group, seeks a Director in Hong Kong to lead strategy, programs, operations and governance. This hands-on role drives bold initiatives, builds partnerships, and shapes funding models to scale impact globally and locally.

You will steward multi-year priorities, elevate the Foundation’s profile through narrative and events, and collaborate with Rosewood leaders across time zones.

Qualifications

• Deep experience across philanthropy, social impact, or purpose-led business.
• Global exposure with hospitality, luxury, or purpose-led brands considered an advantage.
• Proven track record designing innovative, evidence-based programs that deliver long-term impact.
• Outstanding communicator and writer, able to distill complexity for Boards, executives, partners, media, and communities.
• Operationally rigorous, with experience stewarding governance, compliance, systems, and budgets.
• Analytical, comfortable defining outcomes and translating data into decisions and narratives.

Responsibilities

• Evolve and steward the Foundation's multi-year strategy across pillars, sharpening the theory of change and defining success metrics.
• Lead operations end-to-end, including partner selection, program design, monitoring and evaluation, budgets, and disbursements.
• Grow the Foundation's profile into a globally recognized voice through narrative, earned media, digital channels, convenings, and speaking platforms.
• Oversee governance systems, policies, and compliance frameworks with rigor and transparency, evolving infrastructure to support growth.
• Engage credibly with the Foundation Board and senior Rosewood Hotel Group leaders, mobilizing champions, mentors, funders, and advocates.
• Manage existing funding channels while developing new avenues of support, including donor stewardship and fundraising events.
• Design and lead a rigorous monitoring, evaluation, and learning framework, translating evidence into insight and continuous improvement.
• Identify and establish new partnerships and position Rosewood Foundation as a thought leader elevating standards in corporate philanthropy within the luxury sector.
• This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role in a lean and evolving start-up environment across multiple time zones.
