Job summary

Chubb Life in Hong Kong seeks a Digital Business Analyst to join the Bancassurance team, bridging business strategy and digital delivery. You will translate needs into actionable specs and help build customer-facing digital solutions that are intuitive and compliant across markets.

You will work with cross-functional teams regionally, prioritize requirements, and define scalable digital solutions while maintaining artefacts and overseeing testing and UAT with stakeholders and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance or finance.
• Proven record in agile project delivery (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
• Experience with Gen AI tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a Digital Business Analyst to join our Bancassurance team. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and digital delivery, and you will play a pivot role in translating business needs into clear, actionable specifications and help our teams build customer-facing digital solutions that are intuitive, compliant, and fit for market.

The role reports to the Senior Digital Manager and you will be working closely with cross-functional business and technology team across the region.

Key responsibilities

Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements, and translate them into user stories, customer journey and requirement specifications

Assess business objectives, pain points, and dependencies, and support requirement prioritization and backlog refinement

Evaluate and prioritize change requests and new digital initiatives from business and digital workstreams

Collaborate with project sponsors, business and product owners, system owners, architects, and technical delivery squads to define practical and scalable digital solutions

Review technical documents to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutioning

Define test strategy and test plans and coordinate testing execution and UAT triage with technical, internal and external business stakeholders, and vendor to ensure quality delivery

Provide business analysis support across the full project lifecycle, and facilitate system integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment support, and post-implementation evaluation

Maintain traceable project artefacts, including requirement documents, functional and technical specifications, decision logs, meeting minutes, and action trackers

About you

Bachelor's degree, preferable in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields

Minimal 5 years of experience in insurance or finance industry

Proven record in agile project such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

Preferable with prior experience in adopting or using Gen AI tools
