Job summary

Lane Crawford (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage on-premises servers while migrating to cloud, oversee cloud resources across OCI, Alibaba Cloud and Azure, maintain network configurations, and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.

You will design monitoring, maintain Oracle DB, SQL Server and MySQL, ensure security best practices, collaborate across teams for root cause analysis, and provide after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Familiarity with at least one cloud service provider: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Alibaba Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Proficient in Linux operating systems and bash scripting.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, HAProxy, and load balancers is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools.
• Experience managing server rooms, including monitoring, virtualization, and backup management.
• Proven experience in maintaining databases: Oracle DB, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

As a DevOps Engineer, you are responsible to manage both our on-premise servers and cloud infrastructures. This role involves migrating systems to the cloud, maintaining cloud resources, optimizing our network, and managing databases. You will implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline operations, enhance monitoring systems, and lead initiatives that keep us at the forefront of technology while ensuring that best practices for security and efficiency are followed.

The Role

The Ideal Candidate
