Job summary

DJ Group Holdings (HK) Limited is seeking a Design Manager (Curtain Wall) based in Admiralty to lead the design and development of curtain wall systems. You will guide a team of designers to deliver high-quality, functional and visually striking facades for iconic building projects.

• Degree in Architecture or Engineering as a minimum requirement.
• 5+ years of experience in curtain wall design and development.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and curtain wall standards.
• Proven leadership and ability to guide a design team.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

About the role
As a Design Manager (Curtain Wall) at DJ Group Holdings (HK) Limited, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design and development of innovative curtain wall systems. In this full-time position based in Admiralty, Central and Western District, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented designers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, functional and visually striking curtain wall solutions.

What you'll be doing

Manage the design and development of curtain wall systems, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and technical requirements

Lead a team of designers, providing guidance, mentorship and support to drive innovative and efficient design processes

Collaborate closely with clients, architects and other stakeholders to understand and translate their vision into practical, feasible designs

Oversee the preparation of detailed design drawings, specifications and technical documentation

Ensure designs comply with all relevant building codes, regulations and industry standards

Monitor the progress of design projects, identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that arise

Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and the development of new curtain wall technologies

What we’re looking for

Degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field

5+ years of experience in the design and development of curtain wall systems

Demonstrated expertise in various curtain wall design software and tools

In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations and industry standards related to curtain wall design

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of designers

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and other professionals
