Job summary

Asti Pte Ltd is seeking a Design Engineer in Hong Kong to support engineering design and project execution for piping, mechanical, and process systems. You will prepare drawings, perform calculations, and ensure all designs meet project specifications and standards.

You will coordinate with project teams, clients, vendors, and site personnel, provide technical recommendations, and assist with commissioning and testing activities as required to deliver successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings, layouts, and detailed designs for piping, mechanical, and process systems.
• Develop and review process flow diagrams, system layouts, and technical design documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations, technical evaluations, and design analysis.
• Support equipment and material selection, including design optimization and technical recommendations.
• Coordinate closely with project teams, clients, vendors, and site personnel on project requirements and technical matters.
• Assist with troubleshooting, technical problem-solving, and design improvements during project execution.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and related engineering documentation.
• Support commissioning activities, system testing, and performance evaluation where required.
• Ensure all engineering designs comply with project requirements, engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Provide technical support throughout project execution and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
