Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is partnering with a fast-growing ecommerce retailer to recruit a Demand & Supply Planning Manager. The role strengthens forecasting, inventory optimization, and overall supply chain performance.

You will lead cross-functional planning with Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce, Procurement, Logistics and Operations, manage replenishment, and drive improvements in stock availability and working capital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years in demand/supply planning or S&OP.
• Experience in ecommerce, FMCG, retail or consumer products is highly preferred.
• Strong forecasting and inventory management knowledge with data-driven approach.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with planning systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the demand forecasting process to create accurate short/medium/long-term plans.
• Develop and manage supply plans balancing service, inventory targets and objectives.
• Monitor inventory performance and drive stock availability and turns.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce, Procurement, Logistics and Operations.
• Manage replenishment planning and inventory deployment across channels.
• Support new product launches, campaigns, and seasonal peak planning.
• Identify forecast risks and opportunities; propose mitigations.
• Drive S&OP process and provide planning insights to senior stakeholders.
• Analyze sales, trends and customer behavior to improve forecast accuracy.
• Develop and track KPIs: forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory days.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes and systems.

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations teams to align demand and supply strategies.
• Manage replenishment planning and inventory deployment across channels.
• Support new product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal peak planning.
• Identify forecast risks and opportunities, recommending mitigation actions where necessary.
• Drive the S&OP process and provide planning insights to senior stakeholders.
• Analyze sales, market trends, and customer behavior to improve forecast accuracy.
• Develop and track key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory days, and stock availability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes, systems, and reporting.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, or S&OP.
• Experience within ecommerce, FMCG, retail, or consumer products industries is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and planning systems.
• Experience using ERP systems and demand planning tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence decisions using data-driven insights.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing teams preferred.
