Job summary

Dah Sing Financial Group is seeking a skilled Debt Collection professional in Hong Kong to drive recovery and minimize credit losses. You will manage end-to-end collection processes, analyze financial data, and coordinate with stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong communication and negotiation abilities, plus proficiency in Excel and AI data tools. Fluency in English and Chinese is preferred, with Putonghua as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum tertiary education.
• At least 2 years of retail collection experience in financial services, preferably banking.
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end retail credit collection workflow.
• Strong credit and financial analysis skills.
• Proficient in Excel and AI tools for data analysis.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills with customers and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with ability to leverage collection data and productivity metrics.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong English and Chinese language skills; Putonghua is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing debt collection activities to maximize recovery and minimize credit losses.
• Follow in-house collection processes and strategies to adapt to the changing retail credit environment.
• Prepare data for reporting on collection progress and performance.
• Ensure controls under the Collection team meet Bank standards and regulatory requirements.
• Improve collection operations KPIs and effectiveness.
• Support change initiatives and process reviews, performing UAT and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Provide cross-functional backup or job rotation within the Collection team as requested.
