Job summary

CTF Life in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Data Platform Director to oversee data platforms, pipelines, and analytics solutions, ensuring stability, scalability, and security aligned with business priorities.

You will lead end-to-end delivery, governance, and modernization efforts while coordinating internal teams, offshore resources, and external partners to meet quality, schedule, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years in data engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise data platforms and BI analytics.
• Strong cloud experience, preferably Azure, and data governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of data security, privacy, and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end delivery and enhancement of data platforms and pipelines.
• Define data strategy, architecture, and engineering standards.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team and coordinate vendors/partners.
• Ensure data governance, quality, lineage, and security.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
