Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design and build scalable data platforms for our Global Banking client in Hong Kong. You will own ETL pipelines, partner with regional and global teams, and enable analytics through robust data delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data or software engineering, strong Java development, and hands-on cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure). You will work in an Agile environment to deliver data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data/Software Engineering experience.
• Hands-on Java development experience.
• Experience with at least one public cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL and data integration pipelines.
• Develop and enhance data solutions using public cloud technologies.
• Support enterprise data platforms and related business applications.
• Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain data processing workflows for performance and scalability.
• Enable analytics, reporting, and decision-support through reliable data delivery.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and integrity across platforms.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams in an Agile environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data platform and pipeline issues.
