Job summary

Qube Research & Technologies is seeking an exceptional Software Engineer to join their Data and Lifecycle team in Hong Kong. This role focuses on providing trade and position lifecycle automation, particularly for corporate actions and equities-related data.

Ideal candidates will have advanced programming skills in Python, a deep understanding of equities and ETFs, and the ability to work closely with various stakeholders to ensure data quality. Join us in delivering high-quality returns through innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of equities, ETFs and their derivatives with regards to reference data and corporate actions.
• Advanced Python programming, design, and architecture.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with C# is a plus.
• Knowledge of testing as part of continuous delivery and integration pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively in a small, close-knit team.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions for trade lifecycle automation.
• Ensure availability and quality of reference data for diverse asset types.
• Partner closely with stakeholders and align with business needs.
• Validate systems and procedures for reference data and corporate actions.

Skills

Understanding of equities, ETFs and their derivatives

Advanced Python programming

Familiarity with SQL databases

Experience with C#

Knowledge of testing in CI/CD pipelines

Excellent communication skills

Fluency in English
