Job summary

Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) in Hong Kong is seeking a Quantitative Developer to contribute to analytics tools for automated trading, covering pre-trade analysis, real-time monitoring and post-trade performance. You will work closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and other tech teams to design and deliver scalable solutions.

The role combines quantitative development, data analysis, and full-stack engineering with a high degree of autonomy and direct exposure to trading

Qualifications

Proficient Python programming with strong analytical skills.
Experience with TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks (Vue.js).
Familiarity with AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience designing APIs and data-driven applications.
Experience building dashboards for trading or finance domains preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and develop pre-trade and post-trade analytics tools for automated trading strategies.
Build intuitive dashboards for traders and quantitative researchers.
Develop analytics related to execution quality, slippage, and strategy performance.
Process, analyse and visualise large volumes of market and trading data.
Collaborate with traders and researchers to translate needs into scalable solutions.
Contribute to architecture and ongoing improvement of the analytics platform.
Ensure quality, reliability and maintainability through testing and code reviews.
Identify opportunities to improve tools and development processes.
