Job summary

TEKsystems HK is partnering with a leading Hong Kong property group to expand its BI team and build a Finance Analytics Platform. You will develop dashboards and reports using Power BI on Azure, driving insightful financial visibility across the enterprise.

Role focuses on data pipelines, data modelling and analytics, collaborating with finance stakeholders to deliver fast, scalable solutions in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on BI/analytics experience in a large organisation.
• Strong: data ingestion, transformation, modelling and dashboard development.
• Proficiency with Azure data services and Power BI essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Create interactive Power BI dashboards for finance stakeholders.
• Collaborate with finance and senior BI leadership to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Our client is one of Hong Kong's largest and most established property developers, with a diversified portfolio spanning property development, investment, asset management, hospitality, and infrastructure. As part of a major enterprise-wide data transformation journey, they are expanding their Business Intelligence team and looking for a hands-on BI Analyst to help build the next generation of data and analytics capabilities.

Successful candidates will play a key role in the development of a new Finance Analytics Platform, including:

• Enterprise Finance Portal development
• Executive dashboard design and implementation
• Financial reporting across:
  • Profit & Loss (P&L)
  • Balance Sheet
  • Capital Expenditure (Capex)
  • Operating Expenditure (Opex)
• Greenfield dashboard design initiative
• Collaboration with senior BI leadership and finance stakeholders
• Fast-paced delivery environment with significant visibility across the organization

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collect, cleanse, transform and validate data from multiple business systems.
• Build scalable data models and support data warehouse development.
• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
• Support dashboard design, data visualization and user adoption initiatives.
• Work with Azure-based data platforms including Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Synapse Analytics.
• Collaborate with business users to translate reporting requirements into technical solutions.
• Prepare presentations and management decks to communicate findings and insights.
• Support the organization's adoption of Microsoft Fabric, AI and modern BI technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI Development or Analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience across the entire BI lifecycle:
  • Data ingestion
  • Data wrangling and transformation
  • Data pipeline development
  • Data modelling
  • Dashboard design and development
• Experience with:
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure Databricks
  • Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Power BI
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/PySpark.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and hands-on mindset.
• Experience working with finance or enterprise reporting data is a plus.
