Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support data-driven initiatives. You will manage and enhance BI and data warehouse workflows, converting requirements into scalable ETL designs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data modelling, SQL proficiency, and over 5 years of experience in data engineering. This position offers exposure to innovative projects and a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, BI, or data migration projects.
• Proficient with SQL and PL/SQL including data manipulation and schema operations.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data quality frameworks, and warehouse architecture.
• Experience with Hadoop, Python, Java Spring Boot, Docker, or OCP is advantageous.
• Solid Power BI skills across data modelling, reporting, integration, and security.
• Familiar with dimensional models such as Star Schema and Snowflake.
• Experience with SSAS, row-level security, JSON API data sourcing, and Power Query M.
• Experience managing Power BI-SSAS migrations, versioning, and environment deployments.
• Strong analytical ability with effective communication in English and Chinese.
• Minimum 5+ years in data engineering, BI, or data migration projects.

Responsibilities
