Job summary

Bowtie Life Insurance Company in Hong Kong is looking for a talented individual to join their newly created BI/data team. You will lay the foundation for the team, working closely with backend engineers and business users to develop a secure and efficient self-service BI solution.

The preferred candidate will have strong data modeling skills using SQL and a collaborative spirit to work cross-functionally. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS, is a plus. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Proficient in data modeling techniques and SQL.
• Eager to work closely with engineering and business users.
• Good understanding of software engineering practices.
• Preference for knowledge in AWS.
• Experience with modern data transformation tools.
• Familiarity with BI and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend engineers and business users.
• Architect and maintain self-service BI solutions.
• Design technical strategies for data warehousing.
• Prepare automated and ad-hoc reports for users.
• Assist business users in insights and decision-making.

Skills

Data modelling techniques using SQL
