Job summary

Ambition in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong is seeking a BI Analyst to deliver end-to-end BI and data analytics across units. You will build executive dashboards in Power BI and refine data from the data lake.

Under a centralized BI team led by a Technical Lead and Project Manager, you will transform raw data with Databricks and Azure Data Factory, collaborating with business users to define metrics and requirements. The role offers a monthly fixed rate plus a 13th month bonus, with 12+1 days annual leave

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on BI and data analysis experience.
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboards and visualization.
• Hands-on data transformation experience with Databricks and Azure Data Factory (Synapse a plus).

• Strong business acumen and proactive communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

BI Analyst

Location: Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong

Package: Monthly Fixed Rate + 13th Month Bonus | 12+1 Days Annual Leave | Work from Home policy upon completing 3 months

Under a centralized BI team in an established management company, the ideal candidate will provide end-to-end BI and data analytics services across multiple business units. Led by a Technical Lead and a Project Manager, the team is expanding to build high-level executive dashboards and optimize end-to-end data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-impact executive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Work with raw source data entering the data lake, driving data refinement and transformation from Bronze to Silver zones.
• Collaborate directly with business end-users to define business logic, metrics, and project requirements based on PM requests.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, deliver user briefings, and facilitate training for end-users.
• Digest and process large, complex datasets across diverse industry lines to deliver practical business insights.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and visualization.
• Hands-on technical experience in data transformation using Databricks and Azure Data Factory (Azure Synapse experience is a plus)
• Open to candidates from any industry background
• Strong business acumen, proactive communication skills to interface with cross-functional stakeholders, and an analytical mindset to handle large volumes of data.
