Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) is seeking a competent Data Centre Security Officer to manage on-site security and monitor external vendors within our data centre facilities. The role requires patrols of all zones, incidente response, and strict adherence to security procedures.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or higher, with prior data centre security experience and knowledge of CCTV and access control systems. Shift work is required, and a strong sense of discipline is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above is required.
• Experience in data centre security duties.
• Knowledge of CCTV and access control operations.
• Basic computer operation and data centre equipment knowledge.
• Self-discipline and ability to follow orders from seniors.
• Ability to handle sudden and unexpected incidents.

Responsibilities

• Handle data centre security, including access management for external maintenance vendors and IT equipment.
• On-site monitoring of external parties working inside the data centre.
• Regular patrols of data centre zones, passages, entrance and exit points.
• Report to senior in-charge on abnormal security issues.
• Regular security patrols to User IT equipment rooms in various districts.
• Follow instructions from senior in-charge to perform all security duties thoroughly.
• Willingness to work shift duties.
