Job summary

Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. Hong Kong Branch is seeking an experienced security professional to manage incident response, threat assessments and security projects across all bank premises.

You will oversee outsourced security operations, manage access control, and develop AI-based workflows to strengthen security measures. The role requires strong intelligence analysis skills, expertise in CCTV monitoring and fire safety, and fluency in English and Chinese with Putonghua preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree with minimum 5 years of working experience in Security Industry (control room, data centre or high security facility experience preferred)
• Professional security certificates (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, GIAC, CompTIA Security+ or AI-related certificates) are highly preferred
• Minimum 2 years of intelligence analysis experience
• Sound knowledge in CCTV and panel monitoring products
• Expertise in fire safety and Fire Service Installation and Equipment (FSI)
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Putonghua preferred
• Experience handling emergencies and security incidents

Responsibilities

• Handle security incidents and emergency call-outs for all premises of bank
• Assist to undertake security threat assessments and monitor local threats
• Assist to coordinate security projects, attend meetings, plan, monitor progress and handover
• Oversee daily performance of outsourced controllers and the 7x24 Central Security Monitoring Centre
• Manage card-reader access control system
• Assist to develop and implement AI-based tools to enhance security operations
• Assist to coordinate first response to security incidents and other emergencies
• Responsible for managing fire, safety and security issues and investigating incidents
• Assist to oversee security budgets, cost control, vendor contracts and security capital projects
• Identify, develop and deliver initiatives in protective security
• Assist to liaise with law enforcement and government agencies to monitor risk

Job description

• Job duties:
• Handle security incidents and emergency call-outs for all premises of bank
• Assist to undertake security threat assessments and continuously monitor local threats
• Assist to coordinate security projects, including attending meetings, planning, monitoring progress, acceptance check and project handover
• Oversee the daily performance of the outsourced controllers and the outsourced service provider of 7x24 Central Security Monitoring Centre
• Manage card-reader access control system
• Assist to develop and implement AI based tools and workflows to enhance security operations and incident response
• Assist to coordinate the first response to security incidents and other emergencies across all bank assets
• Responsible for managing all fire, safety and security issues and ensuring all allegations of crime and other incidents are investigated and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
• Assist to oversee substantial security budgets, cost control, vendor contracts and security capital projects
• Identify, develop and deliver continuous important initiatives in support of protective security
• Assist to plan and conduct liaison with law enforcement, government agencies and external service providers to monitor risk and coordinate activities

Requirements
