Job summary

Lenovo in Hong Kong seeks an AP OEM SA Manager to engage with OEM customers, partners, sales, and product teams to drive requirements for complex OEM solutions.

You will leverage Lenovo portfolio, customize offerings, build relationships with alliance partners and suppliers, and guide testing and certifications.

This role requires leadership, collaboration across global teams and a track record in manufacturing services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in the PC industry.
• Experience working with third-party suppliers.
• Strong collaboration and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Proven track record of leading a technical lab team.

Responsibilities

Description and Requirements

• What You'll Do:
  As the AP OEM SA Manager, you will engage with OEM customers, partners, sales, and Lenovo product teams to evaluate, understand, and drive technical requirements for complex OEM solution offerings. Your role will involve leveraging Lenovo’s existing product portfolio and customizing new offerings for unique OEM solutions. You will develop technical relationships with key alliance partners, suppliers, and integrators to ensure Lenovo meets market needs. Additionally, you will identify gaps in our portfolio, provide input to product development teams, and engage in specific testing and certifications for the OEM business. You will act as Lenovo's technical arbiter with customers, external partners, and internal teams.
  

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower a team of Solution Architects to interact with customers and Lenovo Sales team to provide best-fit solutions based on customer scenarios, Proof of Concepts, etc.
• Work with Jira or other process management and issue tracking tools.
• Define process flow for team duties and assign tasks.
• Improve efficiency by identifying process inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
• Collaborate with test engineers, quality engineers, manufacturing engineers, and special bids teams.
• Architect new ideas for revenue generation through innovative engineering services & solutions.
• Summarizing and conveying ideas and issues to upper management.
• Collaborate effectively on a WW team with members located in different parts of the world – across various time zones.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in the PC industry.
• Experience working with third-party suppliers.
• Proven capacity to navigate and resolve undefined issues.
• Ability to create repeatable, efficient processes across teams.
• Vision and drive to grow and empower the team.
• Understanding of custom services and manufacturing processes.
• Strong collaboration and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Proven record of managing a technical lab team and empowering team members.
• Experience with various retail solutions and technologies.
