Job summary

Nanyang Commercial Bank Ltd. is seeking a qualified professional in Hong Kong to manage credit risk assessments and policy formulation. You will review applications, analyse risk levels, and prepare reports for senior management.

The role requires a strong foundation in Basel III, regulatory requirements, and cross-language communication in English, Chinese and Putonghua. A4-year track record in risk analytics is preferred; opportunity for leadership as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
• CFA, FPM, ACCA, CPA, or ECF professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in credit risk management and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Basel III and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, report-writing and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English, Chinese and Putonghua.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyse and review credit applications and proposals, evaluate risk level and prepare assessment reports;
• Formulate credit risk policy to optimise the risk exposure of the bank;
• Facilitate in credit product development to strengthen the competitiveness of the bank in commercial lending, trade finance and other credit products.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information System or related disciplines;
• Professional qualification in CFA, FPM, ACCA, CPA, ECF is preferred;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in credit risk management and analysis, exposure in policy formulation is an advantage;
• Sound knowledge in regulatory requirements, Basel III and banking practices on credit risk management is essential;
• Analytical, independent, possession of good problem-solving and report-writing skills;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua;
• Candidate with more experience may be considered as team leader role.
