Job summary

MTR Corporation Limited 香港鐵路有限公司 is seeking a Security Manager to lead and oversee a team in implementing the security risk management programme. You will ensure readiness to respond to exercises, emergencies and incidents, and manage risks through the PSMS.

The role requires matriculation and at least 4 years in security, including 3 years in supervision. Valid Security Personnel Permits and a Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Matriculated or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in disciplined services or commercial security operations, including 3 years' supervisory experience; candidates without Matriculation should have at least 7 years' relevant experience with 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Possession of a valid Security Personnel Permit in Category A and B, and Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, security and fire safety practices and systems, as well as criminal law and related procedures.

• Lead, supervise and monitor a team of security personnel in the effective implementation of the security risk management programme
• Ensure a high level of operational readiness among team members to respond effectively to exercises, emergencies, and major incidents
• Identify and manage security risks in a timely manner through the Proactive Security Management System (PSMS)
• Plan, develop and deliver quality training programmes for operational security staff in alignment with departmental strategies, policies and operational requirements
• Foster and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the effective delivery of security services
• Oversee administrative functions, including roster planning, uniform management and initiatives to promote staff engagement and morale
• Plan and conduct audits of outsourced security service providers to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and performance standards
• Support in the development, implementation and improvement of safety management systems in accordance with the internal standard
